Uliwood is a guest house set in the green countryside just outside Caltanissetta, in the heart of Sicily. Surrounded by olive groves, gardens and open views over the hills, it offers a calm, unhurried place to stay while the city centre remains only a few minutes away.
The welcome here is personal and attentive. Our hosts take the time to make each stay comfortable and are glad to help with directions, restaurant advice or any request that makes a visit easier. The rooms are bright, fresh and impeccably clean, with generous space for couples, families, groups and solo travellers alike.
Mornings begin with breakfast served in your room, followed by coffee on the terrace in the shade of the trees. In the evening the garden and the outdoor seating area look out over the sunset above the valley - one of the quietest ways to end a day of sightseeing in Sicily.

Free WiFi reaches every corner of the property and free private parking is available on site without reservation. Guests have the use of a garden, a terrace with outdoor furniture, a patio and a shared lounge area. Breakfast is served in the room, and each room has air conditioning and heating, a minibar, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a telephone, a desk, a wardrobe, a sofa bed, a socket near the bed, soundproofing, mosquito nets, hypoallergenic bedding, tile or marble floors and its own private entrance.
Daily housekeeping, luggage storage, invoices on request and fax or photocopying at an additional charge are all part of the service. Family rooms are available, the whole property is non-smoking with a designated outdoor smoking area, and pets are welcome on request, with pet bowls provided and possible charges. The house is designed to be accessible, with wheelchair access, a lowered sink, a raised toilet, grab rails and a bathroom emergency cord, while fire extinguishers, external CCTV and key card access look after safety. We speak Italian and English.
